Best Practices for Google Review QR Codes
Add a clear call-to-action
Don't just print the QR code — add text like “Scan to leave us a review” or “How did we do? Let us know!” so customers know what the code is for.
Place it where customers are happiest
Timing matters. Display the code after a positive interaction — on the receipt after checkout, on a thank-you card with delivery, or at the exit of your premises.
Test before printing
Always scan your QR code with multiple devices before printing. Ensure it opens the correct Google review page for your business, not a competitor or a different location.
Keep it large enough to scan
Print at least 2cm × 2cm for close-up scanning (business cards, receipts). For signage or posters viewed from a distance, use the rule: 1cm per 10cm of viewing distance.
