How to manage and remove your data from our platform

1. Data Deletion at ReviewSense.ai

At ReviewSense.ai, we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. This page provides instructions on how to delete your data and how to request the deletion of data associated with your third-party platform connections (such as Facebook or Google).

2. How to Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly through the ReviewSense.ai dashboard:

  1. Log in to your ReviewSense.ai account.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone.
  4. Click on Delete Account.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion (you will be required to verify your request via an email OTP).

Once you confirm the deletion, your account will be immediately deactivated, and your personal data will be removed from our active databases.

3. Third-Party Platform Data (Facebook, Google, etc.)

ReviewSense.ai does not store a permanent copy of your Facebook or Google profile beyond what is necessary to provide the service (e.g., your name and email for account identification).

If you have connected a third-party platform (like Facebook) to ReviewSense.ai and wish to remove our access and delete any cached data without deleting your entire ReviewSense account:

3.1 Instructions for Facebook Users (Via Facebook Settings)

If you connected ReviewSense.ai using your Facebook account, you can remove our access and request data deletion through your Facebook profile:

  1. Go to your Facebook Account's Settings & Privacy.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Look for Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.
  4. Find ReviewSense.ai in the list.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. (Optional) Check the box to delete all your activity history with the app on Facebook.
  7. Click Remove again to confirm.

Once removed, Facebook will send a notification to our servers to deauthorize the connection, and we will process the deletion of your platform-specific cached data accordingly.

3.2 Instructions via ReviewSense Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Platforms or Connections section in your ReviewSense dashboard.
  2. Find the connection you wish to remove (e.g., Facebook).
  3. Click Disconnect.

Disconnecting a platform will immediately revoke our API access and remove the associated data from your active view.

4. Manual Deletion Requests

If you are unable to access your account or wish to make a specific data deletion request under GDPR or other privacy regulations, please contact our support team:

5. Retention of Data

Please note that some data may be retained for a limited period in our secure backups or where required by law (e.g., for tax or accounting purposes) as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
